Event News - Day 3

November 8th, 2018 – Penghu, Taiwan Today the races were postponed because of light winds between 3-5 knots greeted sailors on the third day of the 2018 RS:X & T293 Windsurfing Asian Championships.

With no stronger breeze in sight and after an hour of waiting, a race went ahead as soon as the wind pick up to 6 knots, requiring sailors to pump from start to finish.

The light wind conditions baffled organisers who had not seen these conditions during this time of year before. But winds are expected to return in full force on Day 4, a development which should please sailors who are keen to display their skills in stronger winds.
